NanoOpto Appoints Douglas W. Reilly as Vice
President of Operations
Addition to executive team supports ramp to commercial production
Somerset, New Jersey. June 28, 2004. NanoOpto Corporation,
who is applying novel design methods and proprietary nano-fabrication
technology to produce a broad range of unique optical components
that enable higher quality, low-cost optical components and systems,
today announced the appointment of Douglas W. Reilly as Vice President
of Operations.
Reilly brings 10 years of experience in operations, project, and
product management and process design, to NanoOpto. Prior to joining
NanoOpto, Reilly was VP of Operations at Optium Corp, where he was
responsible for building a scalable business and manufacturing infrastructure
while positioning that company as a world-class supplier. Reilly
also held senior operations roles at JDS Uniphase Corp, with major
contributions of 60% reduction in production costs, improvement
in manufacturing processes, and redesigning production techniques
to increase productivity by 300%. Reilly holds an MBA in General
Management from Columbia University and a BS in Electrical Engineering
from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
