NanoOpto Announces Addition of Maria Light as Director of Product Management and Business Development
Expansion of Executive Team Supports Product Commercialization
and Market Expansion
Somerset,
New Jersey. December 14, 2004. NanoOpto
Corporation, who is applying novel design methods and
proprietary nano-fabrication technology to produce a broad range
of unique optical components that enable higher quality, low-cost
optical components and systems, today announced that Maria
Light has joined the company as Director of Product Management and Business
Development.
Light brings
19 years of experience in business development, product management,
sales and marketing, and engineering to NanoOpto. Prior to joining
NanoOpto, Light was Senior Vice President of Business Development
at Inrad, where her responsibilities included leading merger
and acquisition activity and initiating strategic alliances.
Light also held a senior design engineer role at Litton Laser
Systems, where she designed receivers for large rangefinder systems,
and where she was part of the design team for the first dual
wavelength receiver to be used on lasers that could operate in
either active field or eye-safe modes. Light holds a BS
in Electrical Engineering.
